A diary of sorts, about moving from England to California. Partly because I looked for something similar when I decided to do this, and thought it might contain interesting lessons learned. Mostly to avoid boring my friends with anecdotes.

Still digging
When they started digging, they said they would be finished in a day. I thought that was optimistic. This is day 2, and they're coming back on Monday to finish off.
I am buying a property (euphimism for waiting to hear on a shooooort sale) that from your great detail seems it will encounter many similar circumstances. I was thinking of using Mr. Carlos. Would you mind letting me know how much this pool is costing so I can figure that into our budget and see if it is doable. When I spoke to Mr Carlos they said it starts at 30K but I am sure that is like buying a subaru with no AC
thanks so much our budget for pool is no more than50K so hopefully it is a go Very helpful as those are also the features we will be looking at - my kids will probably be grown and moved out by the time we hear back from Bank of America. I really appreciate this blog - I was surprised there was nothing like it on the web! great job

It's in the region of 45. That's for 30*14 foot pool, with solar heating (about 4k) and saline system.
ReplyDeleteI'll be posting more vids, so you can see the finished result.
