Bread seems particularly expensive. It's hard to pay less than two dollars for a bog standard loaf of sliced bread, and easy to pay almost 4 dollars. Fresh bread is cheaper though - something like 1.29 for a large, fresh loaf.
Bananas are cheap though. 49c/lb, and 99c/lb for organic.
